“The Spaces I Imagine” is an exhibition that incorporates a series of acrylic paintings on stretched canvas created combining memories, observed architecture and imagination. By using complex shapes and a structured, vibrant color palette, these painted spaces are designed to invite the viewer to inhabit and move around within them. A flat surface is transformed into a three-dimensional space, challenging the viewers’ perception of traditional painted space. Physical space preserves experiences that last in our memory. As a result, I represent my experiences in this group of paintings through harmonious color in conjunction with playful spatial design. I invited the viewer to enjoy the exhibition by experiencing the sensation of existing within the complex space of painting.
