Every semester, Dr. Ann Friedman of The Jung Center's Mind, Body Spirit Institute will lead us on an ever-renewing exploration of the transformative, healing, and calming powers unleashed when we integrate mindfulness practices into our daily lives. Join us – as you can – for Mindful Being.
Wednesdays in March and April, come with us on a tour through different topics related to mindfulness! From ways to support ourselves and our practices, to ways to deepen and expand our experiences of mindfulness, there's something useful here for every mindful being. In this session, we will learn to cultivate self-compassion.
Each session will include a brief teaching, a practice, and a group discussion. Participation in the discussion is always optional.
This livestreaming program can be taken from home or anywhere with an internet connection. If you register, you will be emailed viewing instructions either the evening before or the morning of the event. Please be sure to check "spam" and "junk" folders!

About the instructor
Ann Friedman, Ph.D. is a Psychologist and Certified Mindfulness Facilitator from UCLA. She has also completed classes through Mindful Schools, A Still Quiet Place, and other programs. She is currently in the Teacher Certification program for CBCT through Emory University. In 2015, she opened Mindful Being, a company which provides training in schools, corporations, and nonprofits. She has taught mindfulness across Southeast Texas, Puerto Rico and Florida with Mental Health America and UNICEF following hurricanes.
