Event detailsEvery semester, Dr. Ann Friedman of The Jung Center's Mind, Body Spirit Institute will lead us on an ever-renewing exploration of the transformative, healing, and calming powers unleashed when we integrate mindfulness practices into our daily lives. Join us – as you can – for Mindful Being.
The majority of New Year’s resolutions are not kept after the first few weeks of January. Rather than make resolutions, come learn how to set intentions for nourishing ourselves and our relationships through 2022. Join Dr. Ann Friedman to learn what constitutes an intention, how to set and be more faithful to them, and how to listen to our own inner wisdom when it comes to discovering what will truly meet our needs throughout the year ahead.
This livestreaming program can be taken from home or anywhere with an internet connection. If you register, you will be emailed viewing instructions either the evening before or the morning of the event. Please be sure to check "spam" and "junk" folders!

About the instructor
Ann Friedman, Ph.D. is a Psychologist and Certified Mindfulness Facilitator from UCLA. She has also completed classes through Mindful Schools, A Still Quiet Place, and other programs. She is currently in the Teacher Certification program for CBCT through Emory University. In 2015, she opened Mindful Being, a company which provides training in schools, corporations, and nonprofits. She has taught mindfulness across Southeast Texas, Puerto Rico and Florida with Mental Health America and UNICEF following hurricanes.
