Psychology and Life

Every Day Above Ground is a Good Day (In-Person)

Lee Coffee

Event details

Death teaches us great lessons. From age ten to age seventeen, Lee Coffee lost six family members, including his mother (at 35), an aunt (at 18), and an uncle (at 26). His later experience as a critical care nurse only increased his familiarity with death and dying. Discover how to be resilient in the face of death, divorce, and other significant life events, rather than letting life’s difficulties overcome us and drain our resolve. Resilience helps us find a way to transform ourselves, emotionally heal, and continue moving toward our purpose in meaningful ways, even in the face of adversity. Through storytelling, experiential activities, and an examination of philosophy, psychology, and leadership practices, participants will learn how death can be a catalyst for personal growth and development, and discover ways to have a more meaningful life.

This program will be offered both in-person and via livestreaming. You are registering for the in-person module. Please click here to register for the livestreaming module.

In-person attendees are required to wear a mask at all times, observe physical distancing guidelines, and to sign a waiver (which will be sent to you before the class begins).
