Compassionate Integrity Training (Livestreaming)

Pam Lewis, Barbara Homann

Event details

Co-Sponsored with Compassionate Houston

CIT is a 20- hour resiliency-informed training that cultivates values as skills so that we can flourish as individuals and as a society. Compassionate integrity is the ability to live one's life not only in accordance with one's values but also with a recognition of common humanity and an orientation toward kindness and reciprocity. Through large and small group discussion, experiential learning activities, reflective writing, mindful dialogue, and contemplative practices, we will learn to calm our minds and bodies, deal effectively with emotions, treat oneself and others with kindness and compassion, and to use these tools - along with discernment - to help create a better world.

This program will be offered both in-person and via livestreaming. You are registering for the livestreaming module. Please click here to register for the in-person module.

This livestreaming program can be taken from home or anywhere with an internet connection. If you register, you will be emailed viewing instructions either the evening before or the morning of the event. Please be sure to check "spam" and "junk" folders!

All times are CDT. Please contact onlinelearning@junghouston.org with any questions. Learn more about online learning.

Please register early. Programs with four or fewer participants are subject to cancellation, 48 hours prior to their start.
