VISIONS: A Celebration of the Creativity of The Jung Center Community
In celebration of the creative work of The Jung Center community, the Art and Exhibitions Committee requests submissions for Visions, a summer art exhibit on display June 7 – July 15, 2017.
Eligibility: Must be a current member, instructor, volunteer, or staff member at The Jung Center or must be enrolled in a Jung Center class Fall 2016-Summer 2017.
A maximum of three pieces may be submitted. One to three pieces will be selected for exhibition.
Pieces must be ready for hanging, with a hanging wire on the back. Pieces not ready to hang will NOT be accepted.
Two-dimensional art must be framed unless the non-framed edge is part of the design, and it must not exceed 60”x60”.
Sculptural pieces cannot exceed 60” in height. Pedestals, if required, must be provided by the artist.
Work designed to solicit commissions will not be accepted.
The Jung Center requests that exhibiting artists donate 20% from the proceeds of work sold while on exhibition at The Jung Center.
Submission Instructions: Bring your art to The Jung Center Thursday, June 1, from 11 am to 7 pm or Friday, June 2, from 10 am to 4 pm. Artists will be notified if works are not selected for exhibition.
Fees: A non-refundable entry fee of $20 will be charged for the first entry and $10 for each additional piece.
Opening Night: The Opening Gallery Party for Visions will be Saturday, June 10, between the hours of 5 – 8 p.m.
